Perfect Blend Convention Swap

Convention was amazing!  The whole experience exceeded my expectations! You really need to be there to feel the excitement that 5,800 Stampin' Up! demonstrators can generate!

 

One of the things I love to do at Stampin' Up! events is swap.  What's swapping? You create a card (or two... or in my case five) and make multiples of that design (I did 45 of each card), then you trade them with other people. I swapped over 200 cards and now have over 200 new ideas!

Been Away For So Long...

It sounds like a song... but I have been away for so long.  I am currently working on a new blog with my designer Tiffany Kuehl Designs.  She's awesome!  So sit back, relax, and wait for the unveiling!  It will definitely be worth the wait!

Yet Another Thank You Card

Honestly... it seems I am always thanking someone for something.  I am very grateful - for everything!  But since it's the end of the school year, I had to make cards for my son's teachers.

I posted one of the cards here earlier in the week.  That one was easy (and admittedly CASEd). This card was not copied... it is my own creation.  It's pretty simple and straight-forward, but then again, so are all my masculine cards.  I'm still working on stepping them up, but I really like how this one turned out.

Thanks a Bunch!

Running a business (or two) full-time does not always allow for the creative juices to flow, so one has to turn to fellow demonstrators for inspiration. This card was CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from Linda Heller... she received her inspiration from Alanna Wharf.  Although I did not copy it exactly, I did make it my own.

The polka dot background was created by bubble wrap.  That's right - bubble wrap!  It's a fun technique - and very versatile!  Head over to my Facebook page to see the other card created with this technique at our monthly rotating hostess club!
