Let's Celebrate Sale-a-Bration - and a New Blog Post!

I've been a bad blogger. I've ignored this page for too long, and now I'm ready to get back into it! Starting with the end of Sale-a-Bration... it's so sad... but stick with me, because it's about to get happy!

Stampin' Up! has released seven new items for the final stretch of Sale-a-Bration! If you haven't taken advantage of Sale-a-Bration yet, you're missing out! Earn a FREE gift for every $50 in product you order. And what's even better... I am offering FREE shipping on top of the Sale-a-Bration item! Yes, for every $50+ order you place between now and March 31, I will take care of your shipping costs. If you place an order directly with me, I will deduct it from your order. If you place an order online using host code T3FTP7J4, a check will be mailed to you when the order ships.

You can see all of the first release and second release by clicking on the links here, or to the right of my blog post.

Happy looking, happy shopping, and happy creating!

Weekly Deals Continue!

I have to admit something... I thought Stampin' Up! was only going to do weekly deals in 2013 (for their 25th birthday celebration), but I am THRILLED they have continued into 2014! Check out these  items at special prices (which are good only through Monday, January 27, as Tuesday there will be new items on sale)!

My favorite item on this list? Hard to say, but if I had to choose, it would have to be the Extra-Large Oval Punch! Oh how I love punches! I used this punch on one of my swap cards for Leadership (a few posts back).

You can click on the "Shop With Me" button at the top to place your orders.

As always, thank you for stopping by... now go stamp! :)

Leadership Swaps

One of the best things about a Stampin' Up! event is the swapping! What's swapping? It's taking a card you made and "swapping" it for a card someone else made. Some demonstrators make hundreds of cards, but with my limited time I only created 60. Most of the cards were for organized swaps (the hostess sets specific parameters for card design), but a few were made for general swapping (where we run around and find others to swap with). It's a blast and it's amazing to see such talent!

Here are two of the cards I made for my general swapping. It usually takes me a while to come up with designs, but these cards were actually designed quickly using only a few items taken to Houston (I couldn't take my entire stamp room, could I?). Yes, these cards were made in my hotel room! It's actually the first time I took stamping supplies to an event and actually used them! I feel so accomplished!

Want to recreate these cards? It's super simple if you use these items:

Cardstock: So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Very Vanilla
Ink: Calypso Coral, Pool Party
Stamp Sets: Petite Petals
Accessories: Petite Petals Punch, Extra Large Oval Punch, Basic Jewels Pearls, Retro Fresh This and That Designer Washi Tape, Arrows Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Thank you for stopping by! Feel free to leave me a comment! :)
